IN  1998, mostly BY ACCIDENT,  a small home based

nursery was conceived.

After moving to our present location in the Spring of 98 we

started way too many plants to use in our gardens and as we

are zoned RA, [residential-agricultural]

decided to put out a sign and try and sell stuff to the

neighbors.

This worked out fine, but later that spring our neighborhood park [emerald park] started a Sunday farmers market and we were contacted to vend.

The next thing we knew we were not only

involved in this  market, but the lane county farmers

Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday markets also.

Eventually this got to be too much with too little so about 5 years ago we started experimenting with plants in hand sculpted volcanic rock planters. The first few we produced were somewhat basic and crude, but still interesting. They have  continued to evolve into the quality and unique products that they are today.

We produce a lot of succulents [sedums, sempervirens, etc. so these were what we planted in them first, with great results.  They are wonderful additions to rock gardens or patio, borders ect. Then I started fiddling around with bonsai and pre bonsai plants and that is where a good percentage of our product is used. They are also great for most shade plants, indoor and just about any thing else that you can think of This product became very popular locally, and sales to tourists [mostly empty pots/planters] at the markets have gone country and world  wide.

As of this year[2008] we are starting to sell mostly from our location and online so we have more time to devote to producing these interesting and functional products.                                                                                                                                                                                    New  products will be added regularly, and we will continue fine tuning our site.  Visit frequently to watch our progress.
